La Quinta By Wyndham Carlsbad Hotel, Carlsbad

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, although we had to switch to a double room to get a bathtub fixed. The service was great, and the staff even baked fresh cookies in the evening. The location was convenient, especially for visiting Carlsbad National Park, but the dining experience was subpar.

I couldn't help but enjoy my stay, despite a few drawbacks. The hotel is easy to locate and close to Carlsbad Caverns, which is a plus, but it's a bit secluded from local restaurants and shops. The rooms were initially warm and took a while to cool down, though eventually, they were cozy. The service was friendly, but not always readily available when needed. The dining options were basic, and improvements could be made, although the healthy salads stood out. Overall, the hotel had some positives but also some areas that could use enhancement.
